DAY 1 - Begins in: chIang mai
DAY 13 - ends in: Bangkok

Day 1 : Arrive Chiang Mai
Transfer Chiang Mai Airport – Chiang Mai Hotel.
Day 2 : Chiang Mai
Visit Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, the sacred temple with challenging flight of steps which are flanked by Naga Serpents. Wat Chedi Luang, the site of a formerly massive pagoda that was unfortunately destroyed in the great earthquake of 1545; And lastly Wat Phra Singh with the lovely Lai Kam chapel housing the revered Phra Singh Buddha image.
Day 3 : Chiang Mai
Pick up from the hotel by 4x4 Land Rover to Baan Mae Ta Man. Participate in an exciting and unforgettable experience Elephant Safari through the rain forest jungle. Embark on the inflatable rafts for an adventurous journey down the rapids in the white-water and scenic MaeTaeng River. Picnic lunch, then continue by 4x4 vehicle to Baan Mae Kapieng via Baan Huey Rai. A brief stop is made at Wat Tha Kham. Afterwards drive through the lovely typical Thai countryside to Hmong Lodge for overnight. Evening BBQ dinner and follow by presentation of the Hmong Hill tribe cultural shows.
Day 4 : Chiang Mai – Train
Breakfast at Hmong Lodge. Trek through the forest to baan Hmong Mae Khi, after a short strollin the village, enjoy a coffee or tea break in a typical Hmong kitchen. Take a mountain biking on the dirt road through the forest and hilly countryside to baan Palan, a simple lowland local community, passing several rice fields on terraces and orchards. Those who do not wish to bike will continue by car. Picnic lunch, afternoon continue by 4 WD to visit Royal Project Development Center Nong Hoi. There are plots of land with over 30 kinds of plants and vegetables cultivated by using new techniques such as hydroponic, cultivation of plants at school, along with fertigation, testing fruits and vegetables in soiless environment. Late afternoon return to Chiang Mai and transfer to Chiang Mai Railway Station to board your overnight train to Bangkok.
Day 5 : Train – Bangkok
Arrive Bangkok at Central Railway Station and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Your room
may not be ready for immediate occupancy, but we have included a hot breakfast for your
enjoyment.
Later tonight we return to downtown Bangkok for dinner at the Sidewalk Cafe overlooking the
Democracy Monument. This is followed by a tram ride through Old Bangkok as we visit Ananta
Samakhom Throne Hall, Golden Mount, Wat Ratchanaddaram, Democracy Monument. After
the tram will take us to Khao San Road, the official back packers hangout of Bangkok - which
was also featured on The Hangover II, we'll get a beer at Mulligan's Irish pub before discovering
Khao San Road.
Day 6 : Bangkok
Home of the Kings of Siam of the Chakri Dynasty, originally built by King Rama I, it served as
the royal residence until 1946. Today the palace is still used on certain occasions for visiting
royalty or special guests of the Kingdom. Adjoining the Grand Palace you will find the Temple of
the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Keo), this is probably the best known of the royal temples. It is
regarded as the most important temple in all Thailand and it is the venue of many of the
numerous religious ceremonies in which the King participates, especially at the beginning of
each of the three seasons when His Majesty personally changes the elaborate robes of the
Buddha image, carved out of a single piece of emerald-green jasper.
Day 7 : Bangkok – Kanchanaburi - Hellfire Pass
Pick up from major hotels in Bangkok downtown area and drive to Kanchanaburi province to
visit the Thailand–Burma Railway Center, an interactive museum, providing information and
research facility dedicated to presenting the history of the Thailand–Burma Railway. Continue to
the Allied War Cemetery, the final resting-place for more than 6,000 Allied prisoners of war
(POWs). Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, part of Death Railway constructed
by allied POWs. Arrive and Check-in at Hintok River Camp, enjoy lunch and after visit the
Hellfire Pass Memorial Museum followed by trekking along trails from Hellfire Pass to Hintok
Station. Return to the camp site by vehicle, and late afternoon take a mountain bike ride to a
nearby village.
Day 8 : Hellfire Pass – River Kwai
Early morning biking across a hanging bridge to the temple for merit making by giving alms to
monks. Return to the camp for breakfast, later checking out and taking canoes downstream to
visit the ethnic Mon Tribal Village. Depart to the Float House River Kwai for check-in and lunch.
Dinner followed by a traditional Mon Dance Show.
Day 9 : River Kwai – Kanchanaburi – Hua Hin
Breakfast followed by morning at your own leisure until late morning check-out and depart for
lunch followed by a historic ride on Death Railway Train passing over the original wooden
viaduct constructed by Allied POWs. Continue to Hua Hin beach resort to the south arriving in
the early evening.
Day : 10 – 12 Hua Hin
Free days at leisure for personal activities.
Day 13 : Depart from Hua Hin to bangkok
Transfer Hua Hin Hotel to Bangkok Airport.
