Day 1 : Arrival / Beijing
Airport to Hotel Transfer (Beijing)
Arrive in Beijing, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 2 : Beijing (B,L)
Tian'anmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace
Your first stop today is tiananmen square - the largest city square in the world. Then walk into the forbidden cıty (UNESCO), the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing Dynasty, to explore its many fascinating halls and pavilions. Afterwards, visit the elegant summer palace (UNESCO), the largest imperial garden in the world.
Day 3 : Beijing (B,L,SD)
Great Wall Badaling, Ming Tomb, Bird's Nest, Water Cube, Quanjude Roasted Duck
This morning you will be taken to great wall badaling (UNESCO), the site of the most visited section of the Great Wall of China. Then approach to the Ming Tomb, the burial grounds of the Ming dynasty who ruled China from 1368 to 1644. On the way back to the city, take an outside tour to Olympic Stadium, nicknamed Bird's Nest and the National Swimming Centre, also known as the Water Cube. Dinner is served at the genuine Quanjude Peking Roast Duck Restaurant.
Day 4 : Beijing to urumqi (B)
Temple of Heaven, Hotel to Airport Transfer (Beijing), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Urumqi)
This morning visit another renowned imperial site - the Temple of Heaven (UNESCO), where ancient emperor worshipped God and prayed for harvest. Then fly to Urumqi. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Day 5 : urumqi (B,L,D)
Heavenly Lake, Provincial Museum, Red Hill Park, Bazaar
Drive 120km northeast to Heavenly Lake, which is at an elevation of 2600 meters on the top of mountain. Cruise on the lake and take a golf car around the lake. Then we return to the city and visit the Provincial Museum to view the incredible mummies from over 2000 years ago which tell us unwritten history. If time is available, visit the Red Hill Par and take golf car around the park and then visit Bazaar, which is believed to be the largest outdoor market in province.
Day 6 : urumqi to turpan (B,L,d)
Ruins of Jiaohe, Ancient Karez, Sugong Pagoda
In the morning drive for 2&half hours southeast from Urumqi to Turpan, a Uyghur town set in a large oasis surrounded by desert and dry mountains. Upon arrival, visit the mysterious death city - the Ruins of Jiaohe, which reveals traces of a prosperous ancient trading center and military stronghold about 1600 years ago. And then visit the Ancient Karez, the underground water supply & irrigation system and its Museum. In the afternoon, visit the Sugong Pagoda - a very famous Islamic tower.
Day 7 : turpan - urumqi - kashgar (B,L,D)
Gaochang Ancient Ruins, Astana Tombs, Flaming Mountains, Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves, Hotel to Airport Transfer (Urumqi), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Kashgar)
Take a visit to the Gaochang Ancient Ruins - 45 kilometers to the south of the crater.
Then approach the Astana Tombs - known as “The Underground Museum” and highly regarded by Chinese and foreign archaeologists and historians. Afterwards, visit the Flaming Mountains - red sandstone hills that appear engulfed by tongues of fire when the sun beats hard upon them. Then head to the Bezeklik Thousand Buddha Caves which situated at a gorgeous site high above a river gorge. Drive back to Urumqi in the afternoon and take the flight to Kashgar.
Day 8 : kashgar (B,L,D)
Sunday Morning Moslems Pray, Sunday Bazaar, Mosque, Tomb of Fragrant Concubine, Old Town
Visit Sunday Morning Moslems Pray, it is incredible that thousands of all Muslims kneel down on the streets and the squares facing to the Mosque. Then visit the Sunday Bazaar, which is the largest outdoor market in the Mid-Asia. Afterwards, head to Mosque, the tomb of Fragrant Concubine and the Old Town of Kashgar in the afternoon. The old town will bring you thousand years afar back to a paramilitary age.
Day 9 : kashgar - krarkol lake - urumqi (B,L)
Karakol Lake, Hotel to Airport Transfer (Kashgar), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Urumqi)
Take a full day excursion to Karakol Lake. Drive through famous Karakoram highway border with Pakistan, you will enjoy the magnificent scenery of glaciers of the Karakoram mountain - over 4000km above sea level. Walk around the lake at your free, visit nomadic Kirgiz ethnic people who are living in felt yurt. Drive back to Kashgar. At night take flight to Urumqi. UPon arrival, met and transferred to the hotel.
Day 10 : urumqi to Shanghai (B)
Hotel to Airport Transfer (Urumqi), Airport to Hotel Transfer (Shanghai)
Leisure and fly to Shanghai. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 11 : urumqi to Shanghai (B,L,D)
Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Bund, Huangpu River Cruise, Acrobatic Show
This morning, visit Yu Garden (UNESCO), which is a famous ancient private garden with architectures of Ming and Qing dynasties. Then head to the Jade Buddha Temple where two rare jade statues of Sakyamuni Buddha are treasured. Continue to visit the Bund-Shanghai's famous riverfront and have a short cruise on Huangpu River which is one of the best ways to see both old and new Shanghai. In the evening enjoy a spectacular Acrobatic Show for your entertainment, which is one of the most famous performance arts in China.
Day 12 : Shanghai / Departure (B)
